1. What happens when I click a Product Name link or "Buy" Button to make a purchase?

When you decide to make a purchase, and click on a Product Name link or "Buy" Button, a new window opens, for our affiliate merchant supplier who offers that product, and showing their Cart or other ordering information. When you complete your sales transaction, it is actually with that affiliate merchant site, who collects the payment, and ships the product. By going through our product link, the sale is tracked back to us, and our commission is paid to us by our affiliate merchant.

2. How do I complete my purchase?

To complete your purchase through a Niftygarden.com Product Link, you must pay for the product cost (and shipping and any other charges) by using a credit card, debit card, Pay Pal, or whatever option the particular merchant offers, and by completing your purchase online.

Many of our affiliate suppliers show telephone numbers you may call to make purchases, or accept mail-order purchases by check. However, Niftygarden.com ONLY receives its commission when you complete your purchase onlinet. If you call in an order directly to an affiliate merchant, or mail in a payment, we do not receive our commission despite your having found the item you purchased, on Niftygarden.com.

3. Am I paying more for for the product because you are getting a commission?

No. Your price is the same whether or not we receive a commission on the sale, and the price you pay is the same whether you found the product on Niftygarden.com or found it directly on the merchant site.

4. What is a Product Link?

A Product Link is the display of a Product that, when clicked on, takes you to a different website (generally but not always in a new window) that completes the sales transaction for the product, and is then responsible for shipping the product to you. All of the products that we display, including the photographs of the products and the descriptions of the products, are part of our "Product Links" to our various affiliate sales sites.

5. Why doesn't a Product Name link or "Buy" Button link work?

If you clicked a a Product Name link or "Buy" Button, or graphic, link to purchase a product, a new window should have opened to our affiliate merchant supplier site, showing purchase information for the product you clicked on. There are three primary reasons why this may not have worked properly:

a) The link may be broken;

b) The product may have sold out. From time to time one of our affiliate merchants may sell out of a product and not inform us in a timely manner, and we then still have the product shown, when it is no longer available. While some affiliate merchant sites open to a page that indicates the product is sold out, others merely open to their home page, or to other similar product pages, and sometimes to a blank page; or

c) Software problems. There are many types of software programs that customers have loaded in their computers, that prevent the new window from opening to the affiliate merchant site, or from opening at all. Software programs to block pop-ups, spy software, and removal software, and many other types, can hinder or prevent you from completing your purchase, and this problem would be out of our hands, but due to your personal computer set-up. You would have to de-activate or remove such software in order to complete a purchase on Niftygarden.com, or on any of the hundreds of thousands of sales sites that operate in this fashion. Also, you need to have cookies activated in order to proceed with completing a purchase.

If you have experienced any of these problems after clicking a product link, please email us, telling us which product you tried to purchase. If the problem is the link itself, we can usually have it repaired quickly. If the product is out-of-stock, we may well be able to replace it through another affiliate merchant supplier, or we may find a similar product.

6. How does offering products in this fashion save me money?

We are continually searching not only for new products, but for better prices on all of our available products. Very often we find the same product available from several different affiliate merchant sites, and we Always pick the affiliate with the best price when we add new products. Also, we frequently find an affiliate merchant with a lower price on a product we already offer, and when we do, we change our Product Link to the affiliate merchant site with the better price.

7. How does offering products in this fashion provide more choices in making purchases?

By picking Product Links from many different affiliate merchant sites, we are able to offer product selections and varieties of brands that few single websites are able to offer.

8. I can't find what I am looking for - what can I do?

If you cannot locate a specific product through our Product Directories, please send us an email telling us what you are looking for, and we may well be able make available what you are looking for.

9. Who are your affiliates?

Currently, we have well over 200 different affiliate merchant sales sites available to us. These include many of the most well-known retailers in the United States and the World, and many outstanding, top-rated, and well-run, but less publicized, sales sites, through whom we are able to offer products not available through more familiar sites. We also have as affiliates many sites that offer valuable services and products which we display as text links and messages throughout Niftygarden.com web pages. When you click a Product Name link, graphic link, or "Buy" link, you will then see the identity of the specific affiliate merchant site that offers that product.

10. What are my shipping options?

Each of our affiliate merchants has its own shipping policies. After you click a product name, graphic, or "Buy" link and are taken to the affiliate merchant site offering the product you are interested in and proceed with your purchase, you will see the particular shipping policies of that affiliate merchant. Most of our affiliate merchants do offer shipping options including expedited shipping. However, the majority of our affiliate merchants ship only to the United States or to the United States and Canada.

11. How do I track my order?

Each of our affiliate merchants has its own tracking system. The quickest way to track an order is to return to the affiliate merchant site (you can do that by returning to Niftygarden.com and clicking the same product link you clicked on to make your purchase) and checking their Tracking or Customer Service page.

12. What if I need to cancel an order or return a product?

The best way to cancel an order is to return to the affiliate merchant site (you can do that by returning to Niftygarden.com and clicking the same product link you clicked on to make your purchase) and checking their Customer Service page for direct contact information to cancel an order. As to returns, each of our affiliate merchants has its own return policies, and you should also return to the affiliate merchant site to check their specific return policy. The majority of our affiliate merchants allow returns for any reason, or for no reason, for a reasonable time after delivery. You should certainly seek a return or exchange should a broken or defective product be received

13. I made a purchase, and now the affiliate merchant has told me the product I bought is out-of-stock. What can I do?

Send us an email telling us what product you bought. We may well be able to replace it through a different affiliate merchant supplier.

14. Why is a price displayed by an affiliate merchant different than the price shown on Niftyhomebar.com?

From time to time prices do change, and our affiliate merchants frequently effect price changes - both increases and decreases - before we are informed of such changes. We make every effort to keep on top of these changes, but it is impossible to anticipate their occurrence. If you see an affiliate merchant's price that is higher that the price shown on Niftygarden.com, please send us an email telling us what product has changed, and we may well be able to find that same low price through a different affiliate merchant.
